Fr. Nektarios is a graduate of Hellenic College ('12) and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology ('15).

He served as a Pastoral Assistant and Youth Director from 2015-2018 until his ordination to the Holy Diaconate on November 9, 2018 by His Eminence Metropolitan Nathanael of Chicago. Father Nektarios began his ministry at St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church in Charlotte, NC in the summer of 2019 and was ordained to the holy priesthood on July 21, 2019, by His Eminence Metropolitan Alexios of Atlanta.

Fr. Nektarios is a native of suburban Chicago, IL; his home parish is St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Elmhurst, IL.  He and Presvytera Ellia (Hellenic College ’13) were married in the parish of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Seattle, WA in 2013 and have two children.

Father started his ministry as the Proïstamenos (pastor) of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in December 2023.
