Flower Ministry
The Flower Ministry is a prayerful offering of beauty to God, devoted to adorning our church and holy icons throughout the year. Through flowers, greenery, and thoughtful decoration, this ministry helps create a sacred atmosphere that lifts the heart, honors the saints, and reflects the joy and solemnity of the Church’s liturgical life.
Each arrangement is more than decoration—it is an act of love, thanksgiving, and reverence. As the church changes with the seasons and feast days, the Flower Ministry works quietly behind the scenes to reflect the rhythm of the Church year, from simple adornments during fasting seasons to radiant beauty on great feasts.
This ministry is open to all who wish to serve through creativity, care, and prayer. Whether arranging flowers, preparing greenery, or assisting with setup and cleanup, volunteers participate in a sacred work that beautifies our worship and offers a tangible expression of devotion.
If you are drawn to serve God through beauty and quiet service, we warmly invite you to join the Flower Ministry.
“Lord, I have loved the beauty of Your house.” (Psalm 26:8)
“The adornment of the Church is not for display, but for the glory of God and the uplifting of the faithful.”
— St. Nektarios of Aegina
