This six-week course, Intro to Orthodoxy: The Faith, Worship, and Life of the Church, offers a clear and prayerful introduction to the heart of Orthodox Christianity. Drawing from The Orthodox Faith, Worship, and Life by Hieromonk Gregorios of Mount Athos, we will explore what it means to live and believe as an Orthodox Christian. Each week builds on the next, guiding participants through the foundations of Orthodox theology, the meaning of the Divine Liturgy, the life of prayer, the mystery of the sacraments, and the call to holiness in daily life. By the end of the course, students will see that Orthodoxy is not merely a system of beliefs or rituals, but the living experience of Christ Himself—truth, beauty, and love embodied in His Church.
